About

Established by composer and art critic Lin Fang-yi in 2013, Studio Acht is a gathering of musicians, composers, artists, and performance groups who love contemporary music and performance art. Studio Acht hopes to transform the obstacles in this challenging time into opportunities and innovation through outstanding professional skills as well as creative and performance energy. Through administration and resource integration, Studio Acht organizes exhibitions and performances for artists to showcase the talents of Taiwan, while international collaborations and tours allow artists to shine under the international spotlight.
The affiliated Taiwan Musicians and Artists Promotion (TMAP) also operates according to the spirit of the “We Art Together Project,” establishing comprehensive plans and international development for young artists, which includes art agency, commission projects, and publishing and distribution. The different efforts work together with the production and performance plans of Studio Acht to create an all-inclusive music and art ecology.
